HRM and Process Improvement

 



Human resource management need to focus on employee's successful career in the company. Focusing on employee's career will give employees good impression about the company and helps to achieve company goals. HRM process improvement is efficiently achieve productivity, retain employees and engage employees in the work.    

Employees resist process change due to miscommunication, group thinking, stay in comfortable zone, lack of skills. HRM need to clearly communicate about advantage of process change, need to make employees strength to make decision alone, need to get employees out of comfortable zone and give proper training and improve employee's skills. HRM need to consider past and present employee's personal data and also financial details of the company while improve process change.

HRM process improvement helps to reduce errors, response employees quickly, learn more with employees and create clear data to make decisions. Some of HRM process changes are in recruitment, on and off board, pay slip, training, employee feedback regarding matters, retain employees in the work and manage employee's performance.




HRM process can be improved by asking feedback of employees regarding performance, management and spay slip. HRM can follow automated system to keep record which reduce duplicates, improve accuracy of process and give quickness in the work. HRM should create a culture with innovative tasks to perform every day which keep employees learn new skills and also give employees brain exercise. HRM can a culture where every employee's emotion and concerns are given important which will help to get feedback quickly and HRM can convey messages quickly with employees.

HRM should focus on not giving bad impression to employees while doing onboard. HRM can get feedback of new employees who joined in the company and improve onboarding process. HRM can use automation process to keep documents, proper time schedule and need to keep employees clearly understand about the on boarding process. HRM can clarify about each and every step of on boarding to employees which will give good impression of the company since day one.  

HRM need to consider concerns of employees regarding shift time, required equipment, salary issues and recording employee's personal information. Looking at employee's concerns will give efficient and effective workplace with employee's engagement and satisfaction in the company. Employees make requests through emails, teams' kind of messaging apps and online apps. HRM need to provide proper response to employee's requests at the same time employees also need to send complete request with all information. However, HRM need to ensure requests are with complete data and ready to process. 

HRM need to adapt to the change every time which helps them to keep employees stay in the company for longer period and helps to achieve company goals. Artificial intelligence and automation systems helps to complete task quickly with consuming less time which also helps to achieve company goals efficiently and effectively.

    1. Thank you Minoshi. Yes. Automation and AI help the company work accurately and quick however HR should focus on not involve too much of AI and automation in the work place which will make employees uncomfortable.
