HRM and Employee Well-being

 

Human resource management in a company should help employees to stay mentally and physically well in their stressful situation. HRM support towards employees will create a balanced work life for employees. HRM focusing more on employee's well-being will create healthy and high productive workplace. HRM can arrange leaves giving priority for health of employees which is like giving medical leaves and provide medical facilities inside the office. Giving medical leaves and medical facilities keep employees engage in the work with healthy and happily.

Human resource management should communicate employees about the importance of being healthy in the company. HRM can conduct awareness programs about being healthy which will make employees understand more about employee's well-being. HRM being friendly with employees make employees to inform about their medical problems to management and ask help. HRM can help employees to join stress relief programs and courses regarding physical and mental well-being. Employees learning about maintaining their well-being and having exercise for mental health will release employees from stress. Human resource management can conduct medical consultation with employees with secretly which will create good name about the human resource management.



Human resource management focus more on employee's well-being will make employees engage in the work with motivation. Engage in the work with motivation will create more production and also create positive workplace. HRM Consider employees well-being make employees feel that they are important to the work which will make employees to stay longer period in the company with loyalty. Giving much concern about employee's health also reduce leaves in the company which related with health issues. Employees engage with work more and production will also be more when there is no absenteeism. Human resource management can give employees job satisfaction by take care of employee's well-being.

Human resource management can conduct health related programs, stress control events and fitness programs related with employees physical and mental health. These programs and events motivate employees to keep them healthy. Human resource management can create a hotline for employees to get support about employee's health matters. Handling employee's emotions well with empathy also creates good name about the human resource management. Showing empathy also make employees to tell their health problems openly without hiding it. HRM should train managers about how to handle stressed employees in the work which will create positive and productive environment. Focus more on handling employee's workload with creating achievable goals also creates healthy work life for employees. 

Human resource management should take care of employees and need to show empathy towards employee's well-being. Showing empathy will create job satisfaction of employees. Job satisfaction will create high productivity and less turnover in the company.
